This policy explains what personal information Web Design Durban ("we", "us") collects through webdesigndurban.co.za, why we collect it and how we look after it. We are a remote team based in Pakistan serving clients in South Africa, and we handle personal information in line with the principles of South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

• Enquiry details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, the service you're interested in and any message you send us through the contact form, WhatsApp or email.
• Project information: content, files and access details you share with us while we work on your project.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To deliver and support the work you've asked us to do.
• To send invoices and keep financial records.
• To protect the website against spam and abuse.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing messages unless you've asked us to.

Sharing your information

We only share information with services we need to run our business, such as our email provider, web hosting, WhatsApp and payment providers, and only as much as they need. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit. Because our team is in Pakistan, your information will be processed outside South Africa. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure wherever it is processed.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 12 months. Project and billing records are kept for as long as needed for support, accounting and legal purposes.

Keeping it secure

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to client information to the team members working on your project. Logins you share with us are used only for your project, and you can change them at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do so, email info@webfiy.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store small preferences, such as whether you've already seen the loading animation during your visit. If we add analytics in future, we'll update this policy.
